Day 2 - A Month of Antique Quilt Treasures - Starley Quilt Collection

I'm again joining in on the 31 Days of Blogging Challenge led by Cheryl Sleboda, Muppin.com.

This is one of my most treasured quilts. It was made in New York City in 1858 for a beloved Methodist Episcopalian Sunday School Teacher.

  2. Wow the person who made the block with the five baskets in it must have really liked the minister or just really loved piecing.
I wonder which one it was.
I'm sure that there would have been lots of interesting stories behind the blocks in this quilt.
