Day 2 - A Month of Antique Quilt Treasures - Starley Quilt Collection

This is one of my most treasured quilts. It was made in New York City in 1858 for a beloved Methodist Episcopalian Sunday School Teacher.

    Wow the person who made the block with the five baskets in it must have really liked the minister or just really loved piecing.
    I wonder which one it was.
    I'm sure that there would have been lots of interesting stories behind the blocks in this quilt.
