Today's offering is a mostly red quilt but it has some red and green blocks. Dated 1858 and made in New York City for a beloved Sunday School teacher, Sister Esther McAlister. Part of my Sign of the Times Antique Signature Quilt trunk show.
Nice laurel leaves above and a wreath below.
Isn't it an amazing demonstration of the love for their Sunday School teacher!

Found one and took it downtown Monday.
