Antique Log Cabin - Barn Raising - Pennsylvania

Can't go wrong with the traditional Log Cabin quilt! It is one of the most versatile pattern and the blocks can be arranged in so many different ways.  This striking late 1800s quilt from the Starley Collection is done in the Barn Raising setting.

Lovely fabrics. Double blue/Lancaster blue at the top and lots of novelty/conversation prints.

The backing is pieced in a strippy/bars arrangement that is often seen in Pennsylvania.
