Antique Broderie Perse Applique Quilt from MOKA

An amazing treasure from MOKA quilt study group show and share. This beautiful broderie perse quilt was shared by Lynn Miller. Lynn and her husband traveled to Kansas from Arizona for my presentation. Thanks, Lynn!
It dates from the late 1830s/1840s. Loved the bird block (of course).

And the lily block is the same flower I have in my 1842 New Jersey signature album sampler.

It is an unusual shape -short and wide. It was probably cut down. But it is still amazing!
