This interesting quilt started as a standard Whig Rose but got strange by the border with birds, roosters and fish! I haven't seen another similar border and if someone else has please let me know.
It is machine quilted in a simple grid pattern.

ReplyDeleteIt looks to me like an osprey (aka fish hawk). Ours have all gone south for the winter but the eagles have taken over their fishing grounds. Beautiful quilt!
