I adore novelty/conversation prints which were all the rage in the 1880s/90s.
Dogs were very popular.
And equine motifs: horses, horse shoes, jockeys, riding crops were neck and neck with dogs.
Love this circus dog print with the talented little dogs jumping through hoops.
