I've been selected to be an Island Batik Brand Ambassador for 2023 - my 2nd year!
Today, I'm sharing all the wonderful treasures that I get to create with this winter and spring but before I do that, I just had to share my favorite new collection f\rom my new Island Batik Ambassador Box - Garden Delight.
This new collection - shipping to stores now: Garden Delight by Kathy Engle. As the name indicates it is garden themed with lots of veggies and fruit. It is like a yummy slice or taste of summer in the snowy winter!
Here's the link to watch my official unboxing video as an Island Batik Ambassador. I'll also share photos and information about all the cool stuff below! Oh my! Look at all the great fabrics, batting, thread, needles, and other tools I get to create with in the next 6 months!!
Check out this happy rainbow precut collection - MAKE A WISH paired with neutral Ceramic and the bold wavy dots in Cherry Red.
Another awesome new collection ROYAL CROWN with neutral Celery and blender Dandelion Jelly (yummy purple)
Island Batik also has solids! Here are the classics - black, white, and grey along with brights in green and purple.
And more foundation fabrics - always available. And the blender/neutral Baby Powder.
I received a box full of Hobbs Heirloom cotton batting in natural, white, and black and a Hobbs Poly-Down Polyester batt too! Great for a variety of quilting. They are one of our industry sponsors.
Another sponsor or partner is Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design Tools. This time I received the Four Patch Square Up Tool/Ruler. I really had fun with the V Block tool last year and I'm looking forward to working with this new to me tool.
I also received 2 different precut Gradation Collections - Playful Purple and Bodacious Black. Gradations are 20 steps in one color going from very light to very dark. Behind them is the house quilt I made last year using the Brilliant Blue Collection.
Another sponsor/partner is Schmetz Needles which really come in handy with all the sewing and quilting I'm doing!
And our final sponsor this 6 months is Aurifil Thread. They sent each of us a Rainforest Plant Collection which will be using in a crazy quilt project. I received the Golden Shrimp Plant with some fun solids and a variegated thread too. Thanks to Island Batik and our partners!
Beautiful! I can't wait to see what you create. I love that thread collection.
